Protective measures at Hotel Theresia

Since November 8, 2021 only guests with a 2G proof (vaccinated/recovered) may be accommodated. Children up to the age of 12 are exempt from the 2G proof. For children and teenagers between 13 and 15 years of age, the Austrian “Ninja Pass” is equivalent to the 2G proof. After completion of the ninth school year, adolescents must also have a 2G proof.

What other protective measures are implemented at Hotel Theresia?
In order to protect your health and ours, our breakfast will continue to be buffet style at predefined timeslots that we will coordinate with you upon arrival. All shared surfaces (counters, coffee machine, etc.) are thoroughly disinfected at regular intervals. We also ask you to disinfect your hands before entering the breakfast room. Likewise, we ask our guests to wear an FFP2 mask in all public areas of the hotel and to register using the QR codes provided.

For our employees, the 3G-rule applies. There is also a comprehensive prevention concept, which we have been implementing and constantly adapting in our company since summer 2020.

Current entry & exit regulations

According to the current regulation, a 3G certificate must be presented for entry into Austria from countries and areas with a low epidemiological risk. These currently include Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, etc. The complete list (Annex 1) can be viewed here.

If this proof cannot be provided upon entry, a test must be performed within 24 hours at the latest and a registration for pre-travel clearance must be carried out prior to entry. In principle, an electronic registration (pre-travel clearance) is required prior to each entry from states and territories not listed in Annex 1. This must be done at the earliest 72 hours before entry.

In any case, please observe the relevant entry regulations of your home country for the return journey. Detailed information can also be found on the website of the Tourism Region Kitzbühel Alps or on the website of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Foreign guests who are traveling back to their home country and need to present a PCR test have various testing options available in the region. Further information can also be found on the website of the Tourism Region Kitzbüheler Alpen.

Leisure facilities & tourist offers

What is the current situation on-site?
You can find an overview of the current case numbers in Tyrol in the dashboard. Our hotel is located in the district of Kitzbühel.

Please note that FFP2 masks are currently mandatory for all persons aged 14 and over in all retail outlets, museums and public transport. Children between 6 and 14 years of age as well as pregnant women may wear a mouth-nose protection instead of a FFP2 mask.
In cable cars as well as in closed rooms of recreational facilities and cultural institutions (for example in cinemas, theatres, concert halls), the FFP2 mask requirement applies in addition to the 2G rule on a case-by-case basis.

What rules apply to restaurants?
In order to enter restaurants, pubs, etc., a valid 2G certificate is required. However, an FFP2 mask does not have to be worn. This regulation also applies to Advent markets and the night gastronomy (incl. Après-Ski). It is still possible to pick up food (take away) without 2G proof. However, an FFP2 mask must be worn when doing so. For events with more than 25 participants, the 2G rule also applies.
